How does COVID-19 spread?
It spreads from person to person through small droplets from nose or mouth which are spread when an infected person coughs or exhales. These droplets then land on the surfaces or objects around the person.
The research proves that the virus can live outside the human body on different surfaces for up to several days (depending on the type of a surface). Other people can catch COVID 19 by touching these objects or surfaces, then touching eyes, nose or mouth. It is important to remember that people with no symptoms might also be the carriers of the virus. Spreading it unwillingly around wherever they go.
